{For the Kids} How to Make A Valentine's Day Potato Stamp

{Do-It-Yourself Potato Stamp}

Just in time for Valentine's Day, this craft is perfect for the kids to make holiday cards! It's simple, easy and they'll love it! Here's how:

1. Wash the potatoes and cut them in half.

2. Draw the shape you'd like for the stamp (heart, star, initial for your child's name...)

3. Cut around the shape, about a quarter-inch deep, until the shape is defined and raised from the rest of the potato.

4. Put paint in a shallow dish. If you're using different paint colors, have your child rinse and completely dry the potato before using a different color.

5. Dip the potato stamp into the paint and press onto the paper.

Easy right?!
