My "Ready to Pop" Baby Shower!

This weekend was my baby shower and all the months of planning and endless DIY projects was all worth it because everything turned out great! I'd have to say that the candy table was surprisingly the highlight of the party because there was literally no candy left by the time it was all over! None. So glad I decided to do it. :)

I wore a dress that I ordered from Lulu*s (only $35!!!), have you heard of that store, they have the cutest clothes!! And threw on my favorite heels from Zara. Now, let's be honest here, I really don't know what I was thinking wearing those shoes. First of all they are roughly five inches and they do not go well with swollen pregnant feet. At all. I had them on for literally 12 minutes and then switched into some flat shoes ASAP, lol! (But I did look really cute for those 12 minutes!). We did the usual baby shower games, ate lots of good food, and had a really good time...

My cake was done by the amazing Tiffany, of Ilene Miriam Pastry Studio ,and it looked exactly how I pictured (perfect!!)-and was so yummy. You have to check out her website, the desserts she makes are unbelievable! My cousin Collis, of Photos by Collis, is a great professional photographer and took all the fantastic pics!

Now that the shower is over, we begin the countdown to the arrival of this little guy...

  1. AWwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..so bummed that I missed it. Looked amazing. That cake is killer. I'd use her for sure if she were in Miami! Um, 5" heels? Gurl, surely you jest. Madness times two mama. But you did look cute for all 12 minutes.
